What To Expect

10:00 AM Worship Service

Our 10:00 AM worship is in our Sanctuary. We follow an order of worship and utilize the pipe organ, piano, hymns, and our Praise Team. Worship always includes prayer, Scripture, a children’s moment, and a message from the pastor.

After the service, stay and enjoy lemonade or coffee, treats, and conversation.

Plan Your Visit

Please use the driveway to the left when facing the church building to access the large parking lot in the back.

From the parking lot, walk under the covered walkway to enter the building.  The sanctuary, the location of the 10:00AM service, is on your right; coat racks are on your left.

Worship is for everyone and children are always welcome! The worship service include a special message for children.

Our nursery space for infants to children 5 years of age is available.

We love to offer hospitality! Join us for coffee, tea, lemonade, and light refreshments after our 10 AM service.

Celebrating communion is an opportunity to receive God’s grace in a real and tangible way. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of the month and at other times throughout the year. In The United Methodist Church, the table is open to anyone who seeks to respond to Christ’s love and to lead a new life of peace and love; all, including children, are invited to receive.

We celebrate communion by intinction: we receive a portion of bread from a common loaf and dip it into a cup of grape juice.

We also offer individual portions of bread, juice, and gluten free bread.

Our building is fully accessible and handicapped parking spaces are available through the main door. Our sanctuary is also equipped with an audio loop for the hearing impaired, and large print hymnals are all available –  please see an usher for more information.

We care about you being in worship, not what you wear to worship! You will find people dressed in everything from jeans and sneakers to dresses, sport coats, and ties. Dress comfortably – we do!

We believe all that we are and all that we have comes from the hand of God. Giving our offering is an act of worship in gratitude for all God has done for us.

If you are visiting with us, we ask that you be our guest. If Penfield United Methodist is your home, we ask you to prayerfully consider regularly giving a tithe or offering to the church in support of our ministry.

Offering envelopes are available in each pew in the sanctuary. If you would like your own set of offering envelopes, please contact the church office.
